Welcome!

In this course you will learn to be able to recognize, diagnose and offer solutions for:

To supplement your classroom presentations and your field walks we have added web-based couse homework and resource materials. These materials were developed exclusively for Master Gardener Advanced Training classes and are based on information and photographs from  the The University of Maryland's Home & Garden Information Diagnostic Website. To get the most out of each class please read the assigned web study sections and do the study questions before you come to class. You can do them again after class to help you retain what you've learned. We have 3 main web study sections: Diseases, Pests, and Vegetables. We have added the web study portion to the course in order to be able to cover more material in the course, leave more classroom time for hands on work, and to facilitate retention of diagnostic information.
