This list was compiled in March 2007 by Helen Zinn, a Maryland Master Gardener from Anne Arundel Co., as part of her work with the Master Gardener Advanced Training (Level 2) in Landscaping with Maryland Native Plants, a program that received support from the Chesapeake Bay Trust.
